Galway get win over New York in the Connacht FDB League Final...

Galway 1-18 New York 0-4

New Galway manager Joe Kernan saw his team secure an easy win against New York in the Connacht FBD League Final at Gaelic Park on Sunday.

Galway got off to a fast start and were 10 points up by half-time with six points coming inside the first 10 minutes of the match. New York failed to register a score until the 15th minute, when John Murtagh finally got their first point and they would only add add three further scores.

Galway's Eoin Concannon got a goal after a good build-up play by wing-back Darren Mullally and excellent scoring from Nicky Joyce saw Kernan's reign get off to the ideal start.
