Louth have reached their first Leinster football final in 50 years after a great win over Westmeath at Croke Park.

Midfielders Paddy Keenan and Brian White claimed two points each as Louth led by 0-08 to 0-05 at the break.

Louth will now meet Meath in the Leinster SFC final.

2010 Connacht SFC Semi-Final: Galway and Sligo play to thrilling draw...

Galway 1-10 Sligo 1-10

Galway came from behind to get a late draw with Sligo in this Connacht Senior Football Championship semi-final. Joe Kernan's men were nine points down at the break and were reduced to 14 men a couple of minutes into the restart. Galway's Sean Armstrong was issued a second yellow card for a high challenge on Sligo's Johnny Davey.

Gareth Bradshaw converted a pressure free which earned a draw for Galway in injury-time.

The replay will be next Saturday evening at 4:00 PM in Markievicz Park, Sligo.

Mayo's Football Manager O'Mahony Quits...

John O'Mahony has quit as manager of the Mayo football team after his side were dumped out of the All-Ireland Football Championship by Longford.

O'Mahony, the former Leitrim and Galway boss, took charge of Mayo football four years ago after Mickey Moran was controversially removed from the job following a disastrous All-Ireland final performance against Kerry.

2010 Leinster SFC quarter-final: Louth get upset victory over Kildare...

Louth got a shock win over Kildare at Páirc Tailteann in Navan, in the 2010 Leinster Senior Football Championship quarter-final.

Kildare's Padraig O'Neill put the ball into the corner of the Louth net in the 12th minute.

Half-Time Score: Kildare 1-06 Louth 0-14

Louth's Wing-back Ray Finnegan scored a goal in the 39th minute.

Louth go through to the Leinster Football Championship semi-finals against the winners of the Westmeath/Wicklow match.

Kildare 0-18 - 3-19 Westmeath

Kildare loses to Westmeath in the Christy Ring Cup semi-final at Navan.

Goals from Blain Leharte and Brendan Murtagh helped Westmeath to a 2-9 to 0-4 interval lead.

Andrew Dermody added a third goal, and despite Martin Fitzgerald's nine points haul, Kildare couldn't get close to their impressive Leinster neighbours.

Westmeath play Kerry in the final.

Top scorer Darragh O'Connell hit three late points as Kerry qualified for their first ever Christy Ring Cup final.

The sides were level at the break - 1-07 to 0-10.

Wicklow's Andy O'Brien netted for the second time on the restart, but Wicklow were overhauled with goals from Michael Boyle and Gary O'Brien providing the inspiration for John Meyler's men.

Sligo got a surprise win over Mayo at Markievicz Park in what turned out to be an interesting encounter in the Connacht Senior Football Championship.

Mayo's Alan Freeman was fouled by Noel McGuire on the 5th minute. Penalty was taken by Freeman and he easily scored a goal. Scoreline: Sligo 0-00 Mayo 1-01

Benny Coulter inspired Down to an extra-time win over Donegal in the Ulster Senior Football Championship at Ballybofey.

The veteran attacker turned in a vintage performance, hitting a 1-4 tally, including the killer goal deep into extra-time.

Now James McCartan, in his first year as Mourne manager, takes his side to meet provincial champions Tyrone in the semi-final on June 19.

Roscommon got the required result but not the performance as they accounted for London in today's Connacht SFC quarter-final encounter at Ruislip.

Fergal O'Donnell's men set up a semi-final clash with Leitrim at Dr Hyde Park on Sunday, June 20, with free-taker Donie Shine (0-09) leading the scoring.

2010 All-Ireland Ulster SHC Quarter-final results...

London staged a sensational comeback at Casement Park to qualify for the Ulster Senior Hurling Championship semi-final.
Derry, who led by 0-7 to 0-6 at the break, moved six points clear when Ruairi Convery converted his eighth free.

But two Mark Mythen goals in the space of three minutes turned the game in the Exiles' favour, with skipper Martin Finn's six point contribution sealing the Oak Leafers' fate.

Down 4-29 Armagh 0-09

Down powered through to an Ulster Senior Hurling Championship semi-final meeting with London with a runaway win over 14-man Armagh at Casement Park.

Two goals each from Johnny McCusker and Aidan Clarke saw the Ardsmen safely through to the last four.

Offaly have beaten Antrim in the Leinster SHC quarter-finals. The Faithful County took the game to extra-time through a last second free, before Saffrons wilted in the extended period to hand Offaly.
