The following SFC quarter-final matches were played on May 24, 2009.
Waterford 1-07 - 2-18 Cork Venue: Dungarvan
Limerick 1-11 - 1-09 Tipperary Venue: Thurles
Cork will now play Kerry in the semi-final and Limerick will play Clare. Both matches will be played on June 4.
