Meath 1-13 Limerick 2-09
Meath set up an All-Ireland SFC quarter-final clash with Mayo, thanks to the narrowest of Qualifier wins over Limerick at Portlaoise on Saturday night.
The Royals were lucky to escape with the win after captain Stephen Bray was sent off in the 65th minute and Limerick scored two second half goals to ensure a nervous final few minutes.
However, Meath hung on at the death for a victory that will atone for the embarrassing Qualifier defeat to the Treaty County last year.
Meath's Chris O'Connor was Man of the Match.
Half Time Score: Meath 1-6 Limerick 0-5
