Mayo v Meath All-Ireland SFC Quarter-Final Match Pick...

Mayo take on Meath in the last of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Quarter-Finals in Croke Park on August 9 @ 2:00 PM.

Mayo manager John O'Mahony has sprung a surprise by including broken hand victim Barry Moran in his starting XV for this encounter against Meath.

The big Castlebar Mitchels clubman is named at full forward, despite breaking a bone in his hand during training last week. His inclusion means there is still no place for former All-Star Conor Mortimer, who came off the bench to score a crucial second half goal against Galway in the Connacht final.

The team shows one change from the side that beat Galway with Donal Vaughan coming in at right corner back for Liam O'Malley.

Mayo Team:
K O'Malley; D Vaughan, G Cafferkey, K Higgins; P Gardiner, T Howley, A Moran; D Heaney, McGarrity; P Harte, A Dillon, T Mortimer; A Kilcoyne, B Moran, A O'Shea.

Meath management haven't yet named their starting fifteen.

Meath Team: TBC

Mayo are favourites to progress and their superior attack should see them through with a little to spare.

Kerry await the winners in the semi-final.
