Galway easily defeated Cork in the 2010 Allianz National Hurling League Division 1 Final; claiming their ninth NHL title.
Galway's Damien Hayes opens the scoring with a goal in the second minute.
Cork's Cathal Naughton scored a goal in the 23rd minute, but Joe Canning scored a goal for Galway right after that.
Ger Farragher had 5 points in the first half for Galway and Joe Canning had 1-2. Cork's Ben O'Connor had 4 points.

Cork had a penalty in the 40th minute when John Gardiner was fouled, but the Pat Horgan’s shot was deflected over the bar for a point by Galway 'keeper Colm Callanan.
Galway had 17 wides to Cork's 10 in the match.
Joe Canning got 1-5 in the game (all from play).
After the game, GAA President Christy Cooney presented Galway captain Shane Kavanagh with the cup, which will give Manager McIntyre's charges a serious boost heading into their Leinster Championship campaign.
Kavanagh also got Man of the Match award.
Galway will hope to replicate this form against Wexford in the Leinster SHC quarter-final on May 29th, while Cork face Tipperary in a Munster quarter-final on May 30th.
