Cork were crowned Bord Gáis Energy Ladies National Football League Division 1 champions for a third successive season at Dublin's Parnell Park on Saturday. They defeated Galway 2-10 to 1-9. Cork have now claimed five NFL titles in the last six seasons.
Elsewhere, Donegal were finally crowned Bord Gáis Division 2 champions, having lost three finals in the previous eight seasons. The North-Westerners ran out winners by ten points against Kildare in Saturday's second tier decider, on a final score of 5-15 to 2-14.
Meanwhile, Cavan captured the Bord Gáis Energy Division 3 title for the second time in three seasons with a comfortable 4-13 to 1-10 victory against Waterford.
