All-Ireland SFC Connacht Championship 2011: Roscommon easily defeat New York...

Roscommon 3-21
New York 1-11

Champions Roscommon cruised into the last four of the Connacht Senior Football Championship on Saturday with a comfortable 16-point win over New York in the Bronx.

Goals from Kevin Higgins, Senan Kilbride and Cathal Cregg were always enough to fend off the challenge of a plucky New York outfit, who had hoped to cause an upset against the visitors, but in the end couldn't live with a side which had completely lifted their game from the previous weekend's disappointing performance in the NFL Division Four final against Longford.
