A hearing of the Disputes Resolution Authority (DRA) took place into the early hours of Saturday morning to rule on an appeal by the four counties involved in the All-Ireland hurling championship relegation semi-finals to have Saturday’s games called off.
The Hurling relegation play-offs will go ahead as planned, after the DRA rejected the appeal.
Antrim are due to face Offaly at 2:00PM, while Clare and Wexford are scheduled to meet at 5:00PM.
The two losing team were then due to play each other, with the losers relegated from the All-Ireland series next year. Antrim, though, have argued they had been promised three years of participation in the Leinster championship.
The DRA will make a further statement later today.
