Nicky Joyce back in the Galway panel...

Out of favor player Nicky Joyce has rejoined the Galway panel ahead of the Connacht Senior Football final against Mayo on July 19th.

The highly-rated forward was dropped from the Galway panel by manager Liam Sammon for disciplinary reasons after Galway's win over London in the first round of the Championship in Ruislip. However, he has since been impressing for his club Killererin in a recent club game and so he has been invited back into the panel.

Joyce trained with Galway team on Tuesday night (6/30) for the first time in three weeks.

Based on Galway's struggling performance in attack last Sunday against Sligo, he should prove to be a welcome return. It is also expected that he should make the starting fifteen for the Connacht final.
