The quarter-final draw for the Senior Football Championship takes place Sunday evening at 6.15pm, following the hurling quarter-finals in Thurles.
The draw format ensures that the provincial champions will play one of the Round 4 qualifier wins, but that there can be no repeat of provincial finals.
All quarter-finals will be played on the August Bank Holiday weekend August 1-3, except for one. Round 4 of the qualifers between Limerick and Round 3 winners (Meath/Roscommon) takes place the holiday weekend. The GAA announced yesterday that the fourth quarter-final will take place on the weekend of August 8/9.
Dates, times and venues for those games will be finalised by the Central Competitions Control Committee on Monday, July 27.
