Mayo's McGarrity may be back for Connacht SFC Final...

Last week, Mayo midfielder Ronan McGarrity looked set to miss Sunday's Connacht SFC final against Galway after suffering multiple hairline fractures to his cheekbone, following an off-the-ball incident in a club match.

However, it was reveled today that Mayo manager John O'Mahony is refusing to rule out the midfielder playing in the final. McGarrity was involved in some light training with the county panel last Sunday. This week he will consult with doctors about the seriousness of his injury.

If McGarrity doesn't make a return to Mayo's starting XV next Sunday, then he will a serious loss to his county's bid to win back the Nestor Cup from the defending Connacht Champions.
