Meath play Roscommon in Round 3 of the Senior Football Championship Qualifiers on Saturday July 25th at Páirc Tailteann, (Throw-in 7:00 PM).
Meath manager Eamonn O’Brien, has also kept faith with the same team that lined out in the win over Westmeath for this qualifier match.
The flu bug that went through the panel last week is gone. O'Brien had a full squad to pick from with the exception of injured full back Kevin Reilly.
Meath Team:
P O'Rourke, C O'Connor, A Moyles, E Harrington, S Kenny, C McGuinness, C King, N Crawford, B Meade, P Byrne, J Sheridan, S Bray, D Bray, C Ward, B Farrell.
Roscommon boss Fergal O'Donnell had been forced to draft Enda Kenny and Donal Ward into his injury-hit squad. David Keenan and Paul Gleeson are definitely out, while full back John Nolan is a serious doubt with a hamstring injury. However, team captain Gary Cox is expected to return after missing last Saturday's second round replay against Wexford with the 'flu.
O'Donnell will not be namimg his team until just before the throw-in.
Roscommon Team: TBC
The winners will play Limerick in Round 4 on the weekend after next. This will be only the fourth championship game between Meath and Roscommon and Meath have won the previous three.
I don't have much to say about this match. Two teams that won't go far in this year's All-Ireland. However, I think Meath will be in the hat for the quarter-final draw on Sunday night.
Paddy Power Match Winning Odds:
Meath 1/4
Draw 10/1
Roscommon 4/1
Handicap Betting:
Meath (-4.0) 11/10
Handicap Draw (-4.0) 9/1
